Re-test Procedures:
Motorist must provide repair data to be
eligible for retest.
After two retests, additional retests must be authorized by contractor customer service personnel.
Vehicles failing exhaust or OBD inspections must repeat entire procedure. Vehicles passing
idle exhaust but failing the gas cap pressure test receive a gas cap-only retest.
Catalyst monitor must be ready if failed test had
a catalyst related DTC. Vehicles failing an initial OBD test and rejected for monitor
readiness during a subsequent retest must provide repair data to be eligible for any
additional retests.
